THE MIDWEST
MOTORSPORTS MUSEUM
AND HALL OF FAME
IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
The St. Louis Auto Racing Fan Club is in the (very) initial planning stages for a long talked about motorsports museum to hold the history and memories of the variety of motorsport events and people in the mid-America area.

The idea was born in a Fan Club board meeting in 2007.  Since the club is entirely a volunteer organization, we realize that achieving our dream will be a very long term project subject to fits and starts depending on the time and talents available to the club at any given point.

At this time, (2011) we are in the process of applying for the proper Charitable Not-For-Profit IRS designations.  After we have that, we can begin the fund raising process.  In the meantime, we are dreaming and planning about what we would like the Midwest Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame to be like.

We know we want it to be a permanent location in the St. Louis area.  We know we want the museum to hold history and records of the Fan Club and motorsports organizations that have come and gone.  We know we want to be able to display cars, photos, memories etc.  We know we want to have a space to hold gatherings related to motorsports.

Do you have any ideas or comments to add to our book of dreams? If so, email your thoughts to our Museum Committee Chair,
Duane Marburger, at  coupefan@sbcglobal.net  and he will accumulate them in our  "Museum Dreambook".

Until the day we realize our planning and dreaming with the grand opening of the Midwest Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame, we will use this website to keep the dream alive and let everyone know what progress is being made.  We will have a page on this site with links to other motorsports museums in the country so you can get an idea of our inspirations.

At this time we cannot accept donations that are tax deductible to you, but if you want to make a small non-deductable donation in memory of a loved one or to honor someone you know we are accepting and publishing those names on our home page.
